TEDxDayton 2016 Call for Speakers!
TEDxDayton Signature Event spreads ideas and perspectives to spark conversation and connections in the community. The event uses TED’s celebrated format of short, carefully prepared talks, demonstrations and performances that foster learning, inspiration, and wonder while also provoking conversations that matter. TEDxDayton Signature Event showcases talks on a wide range of subjects without commercial, religious, or political agenda.

Speaker application Instructions:
- Complete and submit your application.
- Look for a Confirmation of Receipt in 1-3 days.
- By mid-May, you will be contacted by a Speakers Committee representative to indicate whether you’ve been selected to audition. Audition dates are June 7, 5:30 p.m.–8p.m., and June 11, 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
If you are selected as a TEDxDayton 2016 speaker, you will be expected to:
- Work with the Speakers Committee and your assigned mentor to refine and practice your talk.
- Attend the Speakers Workshop on Saturday, July 23rd.
- Attend rehearsals on select dates in August, September, and October.
- Attend final dress rehearsal on October 13th and the entire event on October 14th.
