  • What is TEDxDaytonSalon | Innovation?
    • 2019 is the first year for TEDxDaytonSalon events. TEDxDayton continues to expand the idea of social engagement with Salon event #2: “TEDxDaytonSalon | Innovation.” We’ll explore the topic of Innovation in its many forms; medical, science, technology, business, entrepreneurship, personal passion, virtual reality, and workforce development. In just a half day, eight Innovation Speakers will hope to inspire others with the possibilities and actionable ideas of innovation.
  • What is a TEDxSalon event?
    • Salon events are smaller, more intimate and informative events centered around a single topic. Salon events keep a TEDx community engaged between regular TEDx events.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxDayton, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxDayton event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
