TEDxYouth@Dayton is a locally organized official TEDx event, held in conjunction with the yearly TEDxDayton events. TEDxYouth@Dayton is open to young people ages 14 through 20, from all over the greater Miami Valley. This year we are excited to celebrate our NINTH year with an event featuring the theme “Nine Lives.”

We are currently accepting applications for speakers, artistic performers, and emcees.

TEDxYouth@Dayton 2024 will be held on Thursday March 7, 2024.

TED Talks are about telling personal stories that change us in some way and make us become who we are, so this year’s TEDxYouth@Dayton theme is NINE LIVES! Think of your personal story of rebirth, do-overs, connections to multiple other people – whatever the idea of “nine lives” brings to your head. Please share your many-faceted ideas with us!

Being a TEDx speaker is a large time commitment, requiring solo writing time, group workshops, working with an adult mentor, and attending feedback sessions and rehearsals over the months before the event.

Youth voices are necessary, now more than ever. If you have an idea worth spreading from the stage of this year’s TEDxYouth@Dayton, we want to hear from you.
